Jesús Manuel Mena Garza has been lecturing about and exhibiting his photographs for more than 40 years. His images have been displayed everywhere from Washington D.C. to Los Angeles to San Francisco. More recently in Europe and Mexico. My older pictures were shot with a "film" single lens reflex (SLR) camera - either a Nikon F2 or a Hasselblad 500C/CM.
Even an Old Photographer Can Learn New Tricks
My newer photos take advantage of contemporary technology - a "digital" SLR camera - specifically, a Nikon D800 with a 50mm f/1.4g lens. The original Nikon NEF files are 7,360 x 4,912 - about 5 times larger than the size of the JPG files displayed on this blog. Even at a reduced file size, they offer an enhanced viewer experience over what's typically available on photography blogs.
This is my most popular blog. Thanks.
